Recondoil doesn’t just throw their technology into the world, they help to decide which solution is the best for each and every one of their clients. At their pilot facility, they push oil through various tests designed to make sure that each and every one of their solutions is perfectly tailored.
This pilot plant is something of a wonder in and of itself. In order to enable them to simulate a full scale processing plant before it’s launched an elaborate process must be undertaken.
This pilot plant is something of a wonder in and of itself.
The Processes Used at Recondoil’s Pilot Plant
Once the oil to be tested arrives at Recondoil’s pilot facility, it must undergo a battery of tests in order to determine the best solution possible for the end user.
The oil is processed at a smaller volume than it will generally be used in during the final application, utilizing only 25L of the target in order to see what can be done with it.
After this small amount has arrived, it is subjected to an exhaustive battery of testing under strict quality control management in order to make sure that the final process is an improvement for the client.
The variable process set up can handle the following:
- Settling or centrifugal separation
- A capacity running from 0-300 l/h
- A separation speed up to 7000g
- Temperatures up to 70°C
All of these variables are built into two modules which can be run separately or in a series. In the first module, separation by gravity settling will be done in the first module, while high speed centrifugal force is used to separate everything in the second module.
The processed oil can range in viscosity from 5-1000cSt, with heating required for oils of a higher viscosity and the density of the oil can range from 0.75-1.25 Kg/dm³.
This allows for a wide range of input oils in order to ensure that the client ends up with a customized process that will render their operations cleaner and more efficient.
Results That Speak for Themselves
By utilizing these extensive variables in their testing, Recondoil can help to create a customized solution for their end users. With a sterling track record and such an extensive, variable process greater efficiencies, cleaner oils, and greener end results can be obtained.
Recondoil’s pilot plant’s testing allows them to make the first step towards a solution that works for their users rather than a one-size-fits-all solution which might leave them wanting.
