Climate smart technology: By using the same oil in a circular flow, the need for new oil drilled and produces decreases on a global scale. We reduce fossil depletion with up to 90% every time a DST oil is circulated, as we only need 10% of what the current production methods need in terms of new oil. This contributes to saving the earths resources for coming generations. 1 ton of regenerated oil cuts the carbon footprint with up to 3 ton of CO2 emission every time it is recirculated. From Waste Handling To Reuse Of Product
About 50% of the global volume of industrial oils is today estimated to be recycled and the remaining part "dumped" or burned illegally. Of the recovered part, 60-80% is estimated to be burned. The remaining 20-30% are recovered mainly by refining.
RecondOil has tested to re-generate oils from most of the non-engine oil applications, and we have found that about 80% of these could be reused for its original purpose using our technology.
